Welcome to Recurmana. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our recurring project management and automation services.

By accessing or using Recurmana, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information collected automatically when you use our platform:

• Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, password, and company details. If you sign in using Google, we receive your profile information (name, email, profile picture) from Google.
• Workspace & Project Data: We store the templates, checklists, schedules, tasks, client details, comments, and project histories that you create and manage on our platform.
• Billing Information: Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers. We receive and store transaction details, billing addresses, and subscription statuses.
• Usage & Technical Data: We automatically collect log files, IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, device information, and details of how you interact with our website to monitor performance and improve our UI/UX.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our recurring project automation services.
• To manage your account, process transactions, and send billing notifications.
• To send administrative emails, product updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• To analyze usage trends and optimize our website and user experience.
• To enforce our terms of service, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal or business data. We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting, plus cookieless traffic and performance analytics), Google Analytics (website usage analytics, only with your consent — see Section 5), Sentry (error monitoring and diagnostics), and Resend (transactional and digest email). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Team Collaboration: If you invite team members or clients to join your Recurmana workspace, they will be able to see workspace data, task lists, and project templates as configured by your permission settings.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Recurmana, our users, or others.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. We use them in two categories:

• Strictly Necessary: Authentication and session cookies set by Supabase that keep you signed in, and security cookies set by Stripe during checkout. These are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to measure page views, referral sources, and aggregate usage patterns. We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which are cookieless and do not track you across other websites, and Sentry, which records diagnostic information when an error occurs.

Google Analytics loads in a consent-denied state by default. No analytics cookies or advertising identifiers are set until you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner. If you choose “Reject”, or if you accept and later withdraw your consent, we instruct Google to stop using analytics storage and we delete the Google Analytics cookies already stored on your device.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. Google advertising signals remain disabled at all times.

You can change your choice at any time: Cookie Preferences.

Do Not Sell or Share. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state privacy laws. Because there is no such sale or sharing, a Global Privacy Control browser signal has nothing to opt you out of.

6. Data Security

We implement robust security measures designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, and our database (hosted on Supabase) is encrypted at rest.

However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data under regulations like GDPR or CCPA:

• Access & Export: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or export your workspace data directly from the dashboard.
• Correction: You can update or correct your account information at any time through your profile settings.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated workspace data. Once initiated, this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Opt-Out: You can opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email.
• Cookie Consent: You can accept or reject optional analytics cookies when you first visit, and withdraw your consent at any time from the Cookie Preferences link in Section 5 or in our site footer. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
